Santa Cruz Cruise Ship
Boat currently not in service
The Santa Cruz ship was replace by the new luxury Santa Cruz II.
The 237 ft. Santa Cruz was refurbished in 1998 in order to provide similar facilities to her more expensive rivals. With a great itinerary and 6 passionate naturalists guiding you through this magical paradise, the Santa Cruz is the perfect base for relaxing, socializing and taking in the wonders of the Islands. The boat features a spacious interior and social areas with full air conditioning as well as a large bar, complete with a dance area. Want to learn more about the Galapagos? Our natural history library next to the bar will help you to do just that.
The elegant dining area offers buffet style breakfast and lunch, with a classy full service dinner served to your table. The expansive sundeck not only offers a bar, but also the perfect location for whale watching by day and stargazing the Southern Hemisphere's skies by night. Enjoy from a relaxing Jacuzzi or one of the reclining sun chairs.
One of the few boats in the Galapagos Islands with a glass bottom, the Santa Cruz offers a great alternative for those not apt to snorkel. The boat is complete with 49 cabins, accommodating up to 90 guests, all with private bathrooms and air conditioning. Choose from luxurious Master suites with exclusive wildlife watching opportunities from their private balconies, single, double, triple or quadruple cabins. There is almost a crew member to every guest aboard! Our 52 crew members, who include a 24 hours a day medical officer on duty, and 6 naturalist guides, are there to provide you the best possible experience aboard.
