4-day Lima and Cusco Deluxe Tour
Day 1 LIMA

Upon arrival, you will be met by one of our representatives, who will transfer you to your hotel to rest. If you'd like, you can explore the city by yourself as well.

After breakfast, our team will pick you up and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Once in Cusco, you will be met by one of our representatives who will take you to your hotel.

After checking in your hotel, you will visit the extraordinary city of Cusco. The former capital of the late Inca empire and one of the most important cities during the colonial period, Cusco will dazzle you with its beauty and history. We will visit the most important archaeological sites and buildings of the city, like the Cathedral, Koricancha, Sacsayhuaman, the Inca bath of Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the amphitheater of Kenko.

The Cathedral of Cusco was built over the Inca temple of Kiswarkancha, and its construction began in 1559. The construction of the temple lasted for almost 100 years, and each one of the many architects and priests that participated in the construction of this colossal building left their legacy in the construction of the temple. We will visit this beautiful church and admire its rich decoration, and above all the art contained in the church. Masterpieces of the Cusqueñan school are kept inside this Gothic-Renaissance style temple. You will be amazed by the silver altar and the many treasures that this Cathedral holds inside.

We will continue our tour discovering the impressive Koricancha temple. During the Inca period, it was one of the most important temples, where the most important deities were worshiped. During the colonial period, the Catholic church built their own cathedral and monastery right over the Inca sanctuary, but kept most of the walls of the Inca temple, thus continuing to acknowledge the Inca temple's important history.

We will visit the ruins of Sacsayhuaman, where the palace of the Inca was built, but now a few stone walls are the only remains of this once-powerful empire.

We will then visit the amphitheater of Kenko, a sacred place that has a built-in labyrinth that leads to a mystical cavern in which sacred rituals took place.

We continue or tour visiting the fortress of Puca Pucara, one of the many defense points used by the Inca.

Finally, we will visit the Tambomachay baths and their fountains of never-ending water.
Overnight at Cusco.

Day 3

After breakfast, we will depart to the Poroy train station, where we will board our train to the small town of Agual Calientes. The ride itself is a magnificent experience on which we will see dramatic changes in the vegetation and enjoy the beautiful landscape that the mountains and rivers form while we journey deeper and deeper into the rainforest.

Upon arrival to Aguas Caientes, we will be transferred to the ruins of Machu Picchu, where a guide will show you around this magnificent place and unravel its secrets to you. You will be able to witness the precise architecture of the Inca and the precision of their techniques. Learn more about the history of this place, enjoy its natural beauty and live the adventure of a lifetime.
